Dr. Oetker fruit flan dough: the dough mixture for fruit bases, cakes or tarts. Easy to prepare, varied uses and doesn’t get soggy.
Ingredients: WHEAT FLOUR, sugar, WHEAT STARCH, dextrose, baking powder (raising agent disodium diphosphate and sodium bicarbonate), modified starch, Flavouring, anti-caking agent (calcium phosphate).
This is what the package contains: 250 g basic mixture 8 g fruit base guarantee (Obstboden-Garant). You need: Fruit base mold (Ø 28 cm) some butter, 2 eggs
For the dough: 100 g soft margarine or butter 2 eggs (size M)
Suggested Topping for fruit cake : 1 can of peach slices (drained weight 480 g) 1 tbsp. Imperial cherries (drained weight 385 g) 1 pack Dr. Oetker cake glaze clear 2 tablespoons sugar.
Basic instructions:
1.Grease and flour the fruit base mold. Preheat oven. Oven: around 170°C Fan forced: around 150°C
2.Put the basic mixture in a mixing bowl, add margarine or butter and eggs. Process everything with a mixer (mixing rods) briefly on the lowest setting and then on the highest setting to form a smooth dough.
- Pour the dough into the fruit base mold and smooth it out using a table knife. Place the pan on the rack in the oven. Shelf: lower third Baking time: about 35 minutes. Immediately remove the base from the mold, turn it out onto a baking rack lined with baking paper and let it cool.
- Recipe suggestion: Fruit cake Topping: Drain the peach slices and imperial cherries separately on a sieve.Sprinkle the base evenly with Obstboden-Garant. Note: With Obstboden-Garant the soil does not become soggy. Then decorate decoratively with the fruit. Prepare the tortenguss with sugar according to the package instructions, cover the fruit with it and let it set.
